This week at Virtual United 5/1/16

Greetings pilots! Welcome to May!

Before we talk about May, we need to reflect on April and the record setting month that it was!!! You all flew for a record 9,569 hours in April, blowing away our previous best ever April (in 2014) by over 700 hours. We blew by last April's total's by almost 4,000 hours.... The VA flew over 2500 flights in April totaling over 3.92 million miles flown. That comes to a total of 8 round trips to the moon, or 7 pilots making the "long a** haul" flight from SFO to New Delhi. We had 4 hubs fly for over 1,000 hours and several others very close.

May should be another big month if today is any indication. We have over 100 flights completed today with a ton in the air right now. Please don't forget about our Thursday nigh shorites events and the Manila Express event on May 28. Our friends at the Guam hub are expecting a big turnout, so don't let them down.

With that, I am going to let you get back to your flight preparations. We are cranking on all cylinders right now, so please take a moment to bask in the glory that is Virtual United Airlines!

See you in the skies!
