This week at Virtual United 8/19/18

I hope this note finds you well. Its been a while since my last e-mail. There are some important items below, so please take a read. I will be brief.
1. 1. Real world tragedy hit for our beloved SFO hub Manager Jeremy Young and his family a little over a week ago. A fire burned down his home. He and his family are safe, but they lost everything. There is already a post in the forum for a gofundme page. Here is the link in case you would like to make a donation.

2. Our VP Schedules Jonathon Kost just updated the entire wide body and narrow body UAL schedules. The updated schedule is already live. Over 1000 flights were added and over 2800 were updated. Thank you Jonathon for the hard work. VUAL has, by far, the most up-to-date schedules of any VA out there.
3. The cost to keep the doors open at VUAL runs about $600 of real money per year. Costs are for website hosting, e-mail, Teamspeak, and DNS services, etc.. For the past 3 years, the mgmt. team has covered all the costs to keep us running. This past year we were able to reduce some of our operating costs by about $200, to get our overall operating expenses in the $450/yr. range. For the first time this year, we will open up donations to the pilots. If you wish to make a donation, please use the donation link on the homepage. More information about the VUAL stock purchase program is located here on the forums:

That is all I have for now. Keep up the great flying everyone!
See you in the skies!
regards,
