Greetings pilots! Sorry for the delay in sending out this note. Actually we have had some outbound e-mail issues from the site so my last 2 notes went nowhere. Fortunately we got the issue fixed and hopefully you are reading this highly entertaining message.

Lets start off with some stats from 2020. Obviously last year was like nothing we have ever experienced. From the VA's perspective, our activity was way up vs. 2019. Some stats based on your PIREPS:

2020 hours: 84,223 +21% vs. '19

2020 # of flights: 23,284 + 26% vs. '19

2020 miles flown: 34,775,105 +23% vs. '19

2020 fuel burn: 932,065,977lbs +18% vs. '19

We flew more in every month during 2020, except December, vs. 2019's monthly totals.

This year is going to be a challenge to beat last year, and we were slightly down in January vs. Jan. 2020. We still have time to catch up.

The development of our new website took a pause in January, as Nic had some real-world items take priority. We hope to get back on track here very soon and get the new site launched.

Please keep supporting Kevin in Events. He is always keeping the calendar full with fun things for you all to participate in. Check the website often for news.

Lastly, please keep getting your monthly flights in. Our Hub Managers have been working hard to trim the rosters down and will continue to do so until the move. Also, we are a pretty easy going bunch here with simple rules, but one rule we have zero tolerance for is "multiple PIREPs". We have recently terminated a couple pilots who were flying for us and other VAs at the same time!!

With that, I will let you get back to your flying.

See you in the skies!
