How to Fly a Charter Flight

1. Open your kACARS, log in, and check the Charter Flight box (under Charter Controls at the bottom) and enter your flight number.

2. Under Charter Controls, click on “Get Aircraft”. To the left, click on “Load ”. Use the scroll window to select the aircraft.

3. After you have loaded the aircraft, fill in the altitude, route, and hit “Start Flight”. You are ready to go! Notice the flight log begins, fuel loaded appears, and flight phase indicates “boarding”.
