P3D v4 & Fleet

Post by UAL333 josh green » Jul 5th, '17, 15:58

Hello all,

My name is Josh and I am brand new to this prestigious airline. I have a quick question which seems urgent in regards to our downloadable fleet and p3d v4. I have a new PC and could only purchase v4 from Lockheeds website. I fired up the sim and tried our emb-120 but I was unable to see any of the model both externally as well as internally. It's urgent due to the fact I am supposed to file 1 flight within the next 7 days and am unable to use our ACF's. I am patiently awaiting aerosofts crjx for v4 but am very doubtful that it will be released in the next week. Please if able advise what my options are at this time.

Thank you all, and I look forward to flying with you all!

Josh

Well I'll let staff answer the options part but since v4 is in its infancy there is very little available from the freeware aircraft perspective. The TDS models (737, 787) work for v4 but of course that is above your level. So you may have to wait a bit. But you should consider payware.

Carenado B1900 is available for v4 but that is payware.

Majestic Q400 is not updated for v4 yet.

Thanks Jason!

What is in our fleet is only available in a 32bit format. V4 needs things to be developed in a 64bit format to properly work. It will take some time for those to develop the new freewares. I know there is a 737 floating around. As our VP of Fleet is on an "extended" LOA? There's no timeline as to when these will be addressed.

Thanks to you both for the replies! I've gone ahead an talked myself into getting Carenado 1900d so that should get me some hours while I wait for others to be compatible. Thanks again!
