Hello all, it's a great idea to launch this tour.
The first challenge will be to choice the aircraft to use. In fact, some legs are short but the runways of the airfields visited are also short (some ones are around 2600' !). On an other side some hop are over 1,000nm (orthodromic route) ! In such conditions, the fuel management will be a priority.
Have all a nice trip and fly safe.

So I guess that a Beechcraft King Air is out of the question then!

Hi Andres,
you're lucky. The first leg is only around 100nm. So you can fly it again. The problem will be different if it's occuring on the WAGI-VDSR route (approx 1,100nm) !
Good luck in the Tour.

Glad we have so many pilots signed up for this Tour/Award Badge. Really! It's a tough one indeed.

Anyway, I've received email questions about airport ICAO codes that cannot be found when you use SmartCARS ACARS. The simple answer? Use kACARS instead. We call SmartCARS... DumbCARS for that same reason. And remember, these legs are NOT in our Schedules. So, you'll have to set them up as CHARTER FLIGHTS. Enjoy the Mayhem... :ugeek:

Trying to fly the first flight to 4V8, but smartcars is not recognizing it. How can I track this flight?

I just flew leg 25 to YXFV and had to do a missed approach because the runway is only 100 feet long. That's barely long enough for a helicopter. This must be a misprint. This puts my progression on this tour on hold since I have to do the legs in order. What should the arrival airport be?
