Level D B767 Problem

Post by ual467 ian roxburgh » August 13th, 2018, 8:31 am

Hi
I wonder if anyone has come across this problem that has suddenly occurred with my LevelD B767?
I have been using the Level D B767-300 successfully for some time now with FSX-Steam. Suddenly, as of yesterday, I am getting a message,

"Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program.
Name: Level D Simulator B767-300 add-on from Flight Simulator X

File: Modules\LVLD.dll

The message goes on to ask if I want to continue to load this progam. If I say no, FSX boots up successfully, if I say yes, it crashes.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing LevelD but the same thing is happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I love this aircraft.

Hi Ian,

Any changes take place on your system that you can remember between the time it worked before and now? Microsoft updates have been notorious (especially Win10) on causing all sorts of issues. Also, I've seen more folks have issues relating to NVIDIA driver versions.

I think there might have been a Microsoft update on 8th August but that did not seem to affect my flightsim as it was working up until the 12th.

Hi
Thanks for your help folks, but no luck. I have tried everything as suggested in the links above but the problem persists. I'm baffled as it was working perfectly before. Looks like I will have to give up flying this particular aircraft!!
