Any pilots out there purchase the QW787? If so, what are your thoughts?

Inquiring minds want to know (with credit card ready!!!!)

Thanks!

AWESOME plane, just got it and is amazing, basics are easy , you can customize cockpit display any way you want, the inboard EFB is useless to me since i use Aivlasoft EFB but has performance pages useful for landing info, took her on a short 1hr flight and it was smooth/flawless, definitely recommend it to all you longhaulers, now i have my Queen 747 and this Big Bird :P

siting pretty at KORD B17 waiting for her maiden flight...

ps.. theres lots of things i havent tried, like checklist, load manager software, etc, but overall she great, worth it...

I agree with Mr. Walsh, so until that hits the market....I'll continue to fly in the stone age

I've gone back to the 'stone age'. 747-400, 737NG, see ya later alligator. About as boring as it gets.
I'm absolutely loving the 727-100/200, 707 and RFP's 747-200. Hello VOR navigation only. Or INS. And more mental effort. And much more hands on flying. SO much more fun and exciting!

The 787 'plastic fantastic' wont even get a look in for me. 8-)

wow, nothing wrong with the classics but you dont have to bash the new tech :| plus you can hand-fly and VOR to VOR all the new jets , to each their own i guess 8-)

No bashing anywhere in my post. 8-)

I doubt the 'kids of the sim magenta line' even know HOW to fly VOR to VOR or even where to tune it.
A little (lot) more work but more rewarding when it works. Much more fun. ;)
