Re: On-going FSX crashes

And, I hate to say but sometimes setting aside a weekend to properly uninstall and reinstall FSX is the answer; it was an annual chore for many FS9 users back in the day. If you're using FSX Steam Editon, you can reset that to original install status through the Steam website. As I recall, the instr...

Re: On-going FSX crashes

While FSX does not take advantage of a GPU the way newer software does - FSX is more CPU intensive - HP graphics may not be enough to run FSX well. That said, you didn't mention which CPU you were using. Also, flying into a third party airport instead of the stock FSX airports, using software such a...

Winter Olympics Event?

Any event/award planned for the Winter Olympics, currently underway? We've had awards for the 2014 Winter and 2016 Summer games.

We could fly into Yangyang - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangyang_ ... al_Airport - or into Seoul.

Thanks.

Re: Tours

Some tours/awards include the required routes on the Award page. For example, the World Westbound II (WWII) description says: Awarded to a pilot after completing the required legs. KSEA-PADU-PANC-RJCC-WSSS-VABB-OTBD-ORBI-DAAG-LOWI-EDDM-TBPB-KIAD. Un-related flights can be flown in between the above ...

Re: P2 Rating Question

Once your studies are done, Ray, touch base with me and we can do some flights together. Outside of events, the skies aren't as crowded and ATC can be sparse. You might re-catch the spark... 😀

Maybe we can earn our P3s together. 🛩

Catering didn't get the memo

Looks like ExpressJet catering needs a repaint on the vehicles, at least at FSDT's KIAH. :D

Re: Commuter Tour Question

OK. My HM has already approved the 13 flights I've made since I posted the enquiry. I'm disheartened that Chris didn't respond sooner. I think I'll soldier on. The only tracking sheet that requires us to be complete flights in a specified order is the Turboprop award. 50 States and SA Tour say any o...

Re: Schedule Wants, Wishes and Gripes

After you click on a departure or arrival airport dropdown, Pat, you can start keying in the ICAO code; no need to scroll up and down.

Cheers, man.
